In the year 2035, truth has become something people no longer care about. Stories change overnight, memories contradict themselves, facts are dismissed as opinions, and the line between reality and fiction has almost disappeared. While everyone else accepts this strange world as normal, thirteen-year-old Koyomi Hashimoto refuses to. She writes everything down, determined to preserve the truth before it can be forgotten. As Cure Paradox, she joins a growing team of young detectives who protect the Jewels from the Phantom Thieves' Guild, a mysterious organization willing to stop at nothing to claim them. At first, it seems simple enough: solve cases, protect the Makoto Jewels, and prevent history from repeating itself... But the more Koyomi uncovers, the more she begins to question everything she thought she knew. Strange clues don't match the history she remembers, people behave differently than they should, and some events feel as though they've already been rewritten before they even happen... If changing the past is possible, then how much of the future can still be saved? Armed with nothing but her notebook, her broken pocket watch, and an unshakable belief that the truth is worth protecting, Koyomi must uncover the answers hidden beneath every mystery, even if they lead to a truth no one is ready to face.
