BOOK 2 OF THE CURSED AU SERIES The second part to the new AU that Casserole :D created with their animatic on YouTube! Book 1: How to train your hoglin Book 2: The Crow of Death ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ After that rather... special adventure in the Nether, Phil was glad to be back home in his snowy home together with Techno. Now back in his normal body, the Piglin was put under strict bed rest to make sure he recovers from the near death experience. While the Piglin recovers, Phil managed all the tasks around the area. Feeding the animals, tending to the small farm, gathering wood and all those tiny things. But one day, he doesn't come home. Techno waited, but the immortal stayed away. So he decided to go look for him in the surrounding forest, scared that he might have gotten ambushed or, the more likely option, got distracted by something again and just forgot to come home. Yet when he did manage to locate him, he didn't quite look... human anymore.

This is based off of Casserole's The crow monster video... Well, it's a little bit more than that... Basically me and some other person called Dragona925 started a comment chain on a comment I did on how much scarier Philza's would be cursed as a crow because he would have a whole murder of crows following him. It turned into an entire story collab that ended up pretty well. I ended up posting it on tumblr and the original comment ended up getting deleted due to me attaching the full story to the main post... One year later and I decided that it deserves more recognition so I'm putting it up on Wattpad. BOOK 1 OF THE CURSED AU SERIES Hey Ho! So this story was inspired by an animatic made by Casserole :D on YouTube. please check them out! In the description of the video they said someone should try and make this into a story, so here I am! Others are also trying to give it their best shot, so be sure to also check out the other stories that will soon appear both here on Wattpad and on Ao3! (This was originally supposed to be a Oneshot for my other book, but I love this concept so much that I made it it's own separate story) Book 1: How to train your hoglin Book 2: The Crow of Death ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Phil had no idea what had happened to his friend. Techno told him he wants to quickly get some crimson wood and be back in 10 minutes... that was 4 hours ago. Now the sun is setting and the Piglin was nowhere in sight. So, naturally, he went looking for him. Instead of his pink haired hybrid friend, he found a gigantic hoglin that seemed to take an instant liking to him. Now accompanied by his new pet, the bird man went looking for his friend, not knowing that he was much closer than he thought... inside the hoglin's body, constantly following and protecting him.

They make really awesome animatics, so go check them out! I'm not sure if anyone even reads Dream SMP fanfics anymore, but honestly, I don't really care. I've had this idea stuck in my head ever since I watched the animatics, so I'm writing it anyway-if nothing else, just for fun. No, I'm still not over the Dream smp and I don't think I ever will be :D This series will have three 'Acts': Act 1: How to Train Your Hoglin Act 2: The Crow Monster Act 3: The Monster Within A note on my upload schedule: I will do my best to upload once a week (probably Sundays or Mondays), but I can't promise anything. School is a lot right now, and I can't afford to make this my top priority. Also, I prefer quality over quantity and I want to make sure everything I publish is my best work. Please don't pressure me for updates :) ~ ~ ~ Staring at him was the hoglin, a hopeful look in its eyes. No, that was silly. Hoglins didn't get "hopeful looks". They were hoglins. He watched as the beast slowly moved closer, cautiously and without any sudden movements, as you would if you were trying to get close to a skittish animal. Why hadn't it attacked him yet? What did it want? It was a meter away, then a foot, an arm's length, then they were only a few inches apart. Phil didn't move. He could read the animal's body language and see in its eyes that it had no intent to harm him.
