Harry Potter Derivative Universe (DU) What is Time? Some would say it is the flow that drives life, others that it is the simple product of interactions between fundamental forces, others that it is an illusion created by humans to give meaning to their lives, but others would say, perhaps rightly so, just like Love and Will, it is an inexorable source of magic, and a gift for those who live! In this story we will dive into a world that, well, made its choices, and whether good or bad, they led to an unfolding of events, unexpected, to say the least. Old acquaintances revisited, new acquaintances discovered, different points of view on the same story we love so much, all of this we will find in this series of tales presented to us, where we will watch with admiration, and with a certain dread, a magical ballet of forces beyond our human understanding; where we will learn that, even if something is wonderful, it can also be powerful, and equally dangerous. The world was fraying at the edges, the sky over Hogwarts a bruised, sickly violet that spoke of an ending long prophesied. Albus stood in the center of the Great Hall, his boots crunching on stone dust and the scattered remnants of a life he once recognized. The air hummed with the sickening vibration of the Nexus Stone, a rhythmic, pulsing thrum that felt like the heartbeat of a dying god. Maltherion was no longer a shadow; he was an inevitability, a god-king carved from the bones of ancient dynasties, his power a crushing weight that turned the very oxygen to ash. The halls were silent, stripped of the vibrant chatter of students. Even the portraits, those once-loquacious guardians, were blank, their paint flaking away like dead skin. Albus gripped the Arunyaka bow, his knuckles white, the wood biting into his palm with a cold, sentient hunger. Beside him, the others-the ones who remembered what it was to be free-stood as ghosts in their own home. They were the last line, a fraying tapestry of ambition and blood, waiting for a signal that might never come. Above them, the ceiling cracked, obsidian fissures spreading through the enchanted sky. Every ticking second was a nail in the coffin of their reality. He closed his eyes, shielding his mind from the creeping despair that emanated from the dark throne now occupying the North Tower. Somewhere out there, the truth of the world lay buried in ruins, unreachable and fading. He didn't know if they would survive the next hour, let alone the war. The Scepters remained cold, dormant relics, and the shadow was lengthening, eager to swallow the last spark of light. Albus exhaled, a ragged, hitching sound, and opened his eyes. The hunt for the end of the world had begun.

It wasn't the silence of polite attention; it was the sudden, suffocating vacuum of a thousand stunned lungs holding their breath. The enchanted candles seemed to dim, and the sprawling chatter of the Gryffindor table evaporated as if someone had pulled a plug on the entire room.

The autumn air over the Quidditch pitch was crisp, smelling faintly of pine and the ozone of high-altitude charms. Above, the sky was a bruised plum, but the stadium was a kaleidoscope of vibrant house colors. All four houses cheered as one, a rare, unified roar that echoed against the crags of the surrounding mountains. Albus Potter banked his broom, his Slytherin robes snapping in the wind. For once, the weight of his legacy felt like a shadow he had outrun. He felt the familiar, rhythmic hum of the wind, the competitive adrenaline, and the joy of a school finally breathing easy. Below him, a Hufflepuff Beater-a boy with a bright, easy grin-was winding up for a massive swing, his bat poised to intercept a rogue Bludger. It happened in the blink of an eye, yet it felt like a lifetime in slow motion. The Beater's swing stopped dead. The golden sunlight hitting his face didn't warm it; it began to leach the color away, turning skin to dull, porous grey. The grin was erased, pulled taut into a mask of sudden, cold finality. The sound was the worst part-not a scream, but the sickening, wet crack of muscle turning to granite. The bat slipped from his fingers, clattering against the bleachers like a tombstone hitting pavement. The boy didn't fall as a person; he tilted backward, stiff and heavy as a slab of mountain rock. He struck the grass with a deafening, hollow thud that silenced the entire stadium. Then, the cheering died. The wind seemed to stop. Albus hovered, his heart hammering against his ribs, watching the pitch turn into a gallery of silence. The boy lay on the turf, a perfectly carved monument of terror, his eyes wide, fixed on a sky that no longer held any magic for him. The match was over. The nightmare had begun.

The No-Maj town of Hatch, Illinois, has a population of 3,247. Soon to be 3,248. And for Hatch, Il, this has been the case. Until now. Sephira becomes involved in both Muggle and magical affairs far beyond her expectations. Before she knows it, she is embroiled in a struggle that could change her world - and the No-Maj world - forever as she tries to unlock the new magical society she has become a part of.

Follow Rose Weasley's adventures as she makes new friends, enemies and has all sorts of adventures-some of which include a stalker with silvery blonde hair who can't seem to get enough of her!

Albus Potter is forced to stay away from his best friend(or more), Scorpius Malfoy, by his dad, Harry Potter. Scorpius is devastated when having to stay away from Albus. Albus is in Gryffindor now, since they messed up time, so he sees Albus far less than he used to, and even when he does see him they aren't aloud to talk.- This is coming from Scorpius' perspective and it's set during the staircase ballet timeline.
