Prologue I walked towards the dark alley sighing sadly. I had made a deal with someone who took deals too far. I didn't mean like a little too far I mean like way too far past the limit of too far. "Just get it over with please," he smiled and pushed himself off of the wall carefully walking towards me. He took off the gemstone necklace he wore and held it out in reach of my hand. I sighed and closed my eyes, reaching a hand out I touched it. Everything appeared in a white blur unable to see. My vision cleared up with ease, the crystal was all blue I could see out the gemstone in the middle. No one could see me or even hear me the man laughed a menacing laugh. He started to walk out of the alley and into the depths of the dark forest. A while later he came upon a clearing beside a cliff that looked high and dangerous. He smiled and closed his eyes gripping the necklace tightly with his hand. "Ready Alice," though it wasn't a question he made it seem like one. Energy drained from the necklace and into him, my energy. My power quickly became his and a loud ear piercing scream echoed off of the empty forest. A few minutes later the screaming stopped and all was silent, nothing moved and no one spoke a word. The man opened his eyes and took off the necklace carefully. He walked over to the cliff and threw it into the cold ice water. I had fallen unconscious after the screaming stopped, I couldn't breath or move. Once the necklace hit the bottom of the deep lake it glowed brightly and I then lay at the bottom of the lake lifeless.
