Paper or Plastic is a collection of short stories inspired by a career in big box retail. Join Brandon Fordney and his Customer Service Department colleagues as they make their way through life in a store: Where those who are often wrong are "always right", and common sense is encouraged.... unless it conflicts with the corporate "Program". All of these stories are written to stand independent from the others; and readers are encouraged to skip around to those which are of greatest interest to them. However, all of the stories exist within the same fictional "universe" and are intended to be 'in canon' with each other. Therefore, readers are encouraged to read many episodes to get better acquainted with the Customer Service team at Maxwell One Stop Shopping.

How did I meet Cameron? (A.K.A. Cat Boy) It started like this. I was minding my own business, searching for the mint shampoo I loved so much. That's when it happened. Some idiot decided it would be fun to rob Wal-Mart, sending Wal-Mart into red alert, something they weren't quite prepared for, and also leaving all of us innocent customers trapped inside. This should get interesting.
