[Highschool AU Updates Wednesdays PST] Scar was transferred to an international school with Grian and his friends. Scar and Grian have an instant connection with each other. Meanwhile, Cuteguy and Hotguy finally meet up again after a while of being away and something different happens between them. Will their secret be revealed? And will Scar and Grian realise their feelings for each other?

Sometimes a story depends a lot on your point of view, the villain can be the hero, and the hero the villain depending on where you see it from. Sometimes these points of view are easy, like that of Scar, owner of Scarland and loved by the city, who not only brings joy, but also protection when he secretly acts as HoTGuY, for him it is clear what happens, him and CuTeGuY are the good guys and the Whatchers are the bad guys. But what happens when you see the villain with a sympathetic point of view?, and the hero as someone close to you? Grian will have to figure out how to not only deal with the power that the Whatchers have placed on him, but how to hide them from the people he's close to and also use them to defend the city from the very things that gave them those powers. A few months ago, Scar and his best friend Cub acted on a crazy idea that they believed would help the city, which led to Scar becoming HotGuy, a sort of superhero/vigilante who works alone, protecting the city nightly. Behind the scenes, however, he's a cat-loving architecture professor, who's lived in Hermit City long enough to know all of the villains and their M.O.s. Or, so he thought. When HotGuy comes across an avian mercenary one day while he's on duty, he is thoroughly confused as to why they seem to serve no one but themselves. He's even more anxious to figure out who - or what - they really are when he sees them use inhuman abilities. Something large is stirring in Hermit City, and two enemies must put aside their morals and differences and work together to save the city. This is technically a Scarian ship fic but nothing super serious between them is gonna happen until the next two books. ty guys sm for 666 reads! Lmao

Scar has himself a bit of a hero life as well, running around as the Emerald Soldier known as Hotguy. I recommend you read the revised version for a better experience! Annabeth Chase is that girl. I do my own cover design, so let me know what you think of the cover as it relates to the genre (romantic adventure) and story elements. The background image includes some Michigan beach-front cottages, which is what I was envisioning while I was writing the story.
