Of course, Olivia is taken to Port Royal's garrison with the rest of the pirate crew because of her obvious connections to piracy, but she claims innocence to the charges. Will Norrington come to trust her word and help her escape her old life? Or will his vendetta against pirates get in the way? And if he does believe her, will anyone else in Port Royal society? Or will she be forced back into a wretched life on the Caribbean high seas?
