Eighteen year old Amanda Lowell's first day as a freshman at Montgomery University sucks. For one, there's Jennifer, the perfect beautiful girl who once used to be her friend and is now hell bent on making her life miserable by spreading gossip around campus - gossip that is true and just about alienates her from everyone except for best friend and roommate, Rene. And then there's Jack Daniels, her childhood crush. Amanda hasn't seen Jack since she was thirteen. Amanda blames herself for the tra gedy that befell Jack's family. The problem is Jack blames her too. He makes it clear he hates her, but that's okay...she hates herself.

My sister tore free of my grasp and ran to the house, dropping her bag. I just stood there. I felt frozen and sick to the stomach as I hear my sister screaming, my mom sobbing and my two year old brother wailing. People rushed by, knocking against me, but I don't move. I saw the body bag. I heard what the paramedics were saying. My dad shot himself. Hey, Knox here *makes peace sign* This is an original story by moi, about life. (based on a true story, not telling you whose so don't copy it!) I don't own the cover (Made by my sister TheAngelOfMusic27)
