Leo Wells was 2 years old when his parents were killed in a bizarre and terrifying incident. Unknownly, his father was killed too, and His 'father' became a whole different person because he was a different person. Eobard Thawne pretended to be Harrison Wells after killing him and his wife. Now, over 14 years later, Leo has become a brilliant, driven and endearingly geeky student intern at S.T.A.R. Labs. A few days after Barry became the Flash, Leo discovered that he was also affected by the explosion and had become a meta-human. He discovered this when he touched Barry and felt a surge of energy course through him, granting him the ability to move at super speed just like Barry. Excited and bewildered by this newfound power, Leo realised that he could mimic and replicate other meta-humans' abilities, but only for a short period of time.

Charlotte Queen is the middle child of the Queen siblings, and new resident of Central City. Also new metahuman who chooses to used her powers for good, and becomes an ally of the flash. Barry Allen agreed to help his friends younger sister settle into the city, and make sure nothing happens to her, despite all of the chaos going on in his life. Barry begins to work beside Charlotte, training her to be a superhero. Unknowing that someone else, something else, wants to use Charlotte to his own benefit. Building an unlikely team was hard, but the thing that was even harder than that was trying to juggle all of the feelings that were coming out of this. Facing drama not only in their civilian lives, but also their hero lives.
