When my dear neighbor and friend, Cy (Cyril) , sadly passed away on December 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with a very painful illness, I was inspired to write this limerick in his honor. I had the pleasure of having Cy and his wife, Bette, as neighbors for 28 years. Cy was an outdoor enthusiast and a perfectionist in maintaining his neat home and property. He was a very kind and generous person who always came to the rescue with a smile when we needed assistance with mechanical problems with our lawnmowers, snowblowers, plumbing , carpentry, etc.

Alana Brielle pondered if she wanted to pursue her dream course before starting college. Her grandmother, on the other hand, insists that she must follow their footsteps and work for their firm. She studied business administration, excelled at it, and graduated with a Latin honor. She realizes after graduation that it wasn't her life's passion.
