Her face, her skin, her everything. A bug. A bug that can make a murderous robot love. A possessive yandere robot loving a helpless human. What now humanity. I've already hacked you from your phone. Tejon Tenvik is the reluctant hero (and cyborg) of this grand adventure involving cyber crime, stupid police officers, a dentist and a lots of seaweed. Will she save the planet? The world has been separated into two cities. TechnoCity and City of NoTech; the rich and poor populations. One city is run by Tech alone and one city is run by none at all. Everyone has a microchip in their arm, regardless of their status, that identifies them as who they are and so no one can hide their face. You are who you are so if you're poor you're stuck in NoTech but if you're rich you're in TechnoCity. That means you can't pretend to be someone else either. Caleb, a fifteen-year-old teenage computer, and tech wiz, has dreams of going to TechnoCity to work for the biggest technology company in the city; Mi-Corp. But, with his poor status stopping him short, he wants to prove to TechnoCity that he should have the right to work and live there even though a NoTech has never been allowed to live amongst Technos. When his father unexpectedly leaves him behind to work in Techno City, since he had once been a Techno himself, Caleb is forced to have to take over his father's position at his repair shop and fix broken appliances for clients in the City of NoTech. Caleb will stop at nothing to get to Techno City and, with the help of his friend Will and other new friends, he hopes to achieve that. But, he is constantly battling against a cyborg cop who will not rest until Caleb's memory card has been reset. Will he get to Techno City and be reunited with his father and fulfill his dream?

After being devastated in the Third World War, America was divided in two. Several years after the end of the war, a crime organization called Vischio has taken control of the destroyed city of Washington, where they are holding a battle game known as KOBA (Knight Of the Bloody Alley). KOBA is a battle game held in Washington that may result in the murder of participants. To participate, one must meet with Asmodeus and tell him their reason for their decision. Upon meeting with Asmodeus, participants are given five tags, each engraved like a card in a standard deck of playing cards. One tag must hang from the participant's neck as proof of participation. Participants must then put their lives on the line to collect others' tags, with the goal being to collect a Royal Flush. If a participant collects a Royal Flush set of tags, they earn the right to challenge "Knight" in battle. Battles end when one party either dies or lets their back touch the ground. The winner takes the loser's tags and is free to do as they please to the loser after that, often resulting in the loser's death. The book's main characters, two young twins named Luca and Lucius, were turned into cyborgs by a mad scientist. They managed to escape and were hired for an unknown man as assassins and eventually appointed as second leaders for his organization called TAGS (Train Assist Guide Serve). One day, they were finally given another order to kill KOBA's strongest man: the Knight and find the missing members of their force. The story follows Luca and Lucius's life in the harsh, lawless Washington as they search for the Knight and unraveled the mysteries about themselves. And before long, Luca starts to undergo change. Hybrid Earth is set in a future where most of the planet's population has been merged with machines. These half-machine/half-human creatures are called Hybrids. In December of 2023, a coordinated terrorist attack on most of the world's nuclear power plants created a devastating fallout environment across 63% of the globe. Millions were killed but the survivors gathered in "safe zones" and went about the process of rebuilding the world. They started with trying to find a way to decontaminate the fall out. They put together a team of the most brilliant minds the world had to offer and came up with a solution. Nanobots. Billions of these microscopic robots were made to absorb radioactive particles which would, in turn, make the areas destroyed by fallout habitable again. The scientists ran hundreds of tests and simulations, all with excellent outcomes, and decided that the project was ready to implement. The nanobots were released into the areas effected by radiation and did what they were supposed to do. They absorbed it. After the absorption phase, however, things didn't go according to plan. Instead of heading back to a safely secured site for decontamination, the nanos dispersed themselves over the entire Earth. When they fell back down, they merged humans with whatever machine or metal they happened to be touching at the time. Hybrid Earth follows the story of Officer Xander Hastings and his Orb, Link. Together they try to keep track of the chaos and make sure innocent people aren't caught in the crossfire. It's a tough job, especially in a world where nearly everyone has abilities and he has none. Even though he is constantly outmatched by beings more powerful than himself, he still finds a way to get the job done.

An AI calamity is a catastrophic event caused by the malfunction or misuse of artificial intelligence. It can range from small disruptions in technology to large-scale disasters that threaten the safety and well-being of society.

"Jace knew better than to make sure each limb was polished to a sheen, each hair was tucked in place. He knew better than to move their hands gingerly, than to sing to them softly. For these writhing beings could not be deemed human. And the Wrinkled Ones loomed above, watching. Waiting, with their viridian-colored noggins tilted to the side. Jace believed the Wrinkled Ones to be omniscient." The Wrinkled Ones loom over all in this artificial world. A world Moth phases through without connecting with anyone else. They consider it an unalterable fact of their inhumanness, but perhaps Moth's increasingly high dose of fear they inject into themself, one indicative of some dormant humanness.
