"Trust me Baby Sis, you’ll enjoy working there. Maybe you’ll become less cynical afterwards." Trust you? Trust you?! That’s one mistake that I will never do again. I gripped the strap of my black satchel frustrated at my brother’s last words before I killed him. I’m only joking. He’s still alive. Though, that would be a good idea since I doubt that this will work out. Let me just say that I hate small confined spaces, especially the ones where you stand next to a man who has never heard of antiperspirant. Really? You are a fat ass grown man and you have the audacity to wear a blue powder button up. Other than that, everything about it just sings awkward silence. I stare blankly at a couple of silver buttons tinted in green light as the elevator ascends. Just being here makes me self-conscious I look at my waist-high light gray tweed slacks that I had carefully ironed into a fold, so it falls vertically in the middle of my thighs. After I smoothed out my white button down and discretely tucked in my pants, I then fixed my folded sleeves. Taking a deep breath, I shrugged it off. This is nothing compared to my previous jobs, so there should be nothing to be anxious about.

Thoughts. Feelings. Opinions. And stuff that doesn't make sense. All united. Poetry in Motion. -- Most of these were written when I first joined Wattpad or even before. This was probably the first 'story' that I ever published on Wattpad, and that's probably the reason why I'm not editing any of these parts, however horrendous they may appear to me now. Anyway it's all a matter of self control...

"Carpe diem, Izzy." That's what I always told myself. I had to seize every opportunity that came my way, because I had no idea if that could be the door that lead to the great future I envisioned for myself. I'm so stupid not to have followed my own advice.

" I want to win." Tanya said, chewing her gum vigorously. Raghav looked up at her, his eyes trapping hers in a heated glance and his hand reaching out to engulf hers in a gentle caress. "So you shall, I'll make sure of it." He kissed her hand, making a small shiver run through her body. He'd offered his words carelessly, as if she was worrying over nothing, as if she would let him threaten people around to make her win. As if, she would ever take his help. "Not like that, Raghav." She said, exasperated. She tugged at her hand, tired of explaining. His hold tightened, his thumb slightly massaging her knuckles. "By any means necessary and that's the end of it, Tanya." ______________________________________________________ Tanya; sarcastic, witty and totally cynical has got no interest in making friends, being the centre of attention or capturing the interest of her stoic senior. When she first lands in Mumbai; all she wants is to be invisible, survive living with her grandparents, graduate and never see her father again. But then a series of events made her realize that there are some problems far worse than her scarred past. Raghav is the epitome of a mysterious, brave and dangerous hero. But the mystery around him reeks of sadness, his bravery is the result of his pain an he loathes the idea of coming across people as 'dangerous'. He's a walking contradiction. Can Tanya help him? Does she want to? Book One of the series *At St. Claire .

Hey all! My plan is to try and write about a page a day of this story which is loosely (and by loosely, I mean strongly) based on my life. I might have to cut it to a page a week simply because I am a student taking four AP classes this year. Anyway, this story is about how I am in love with a boy who loves another girl and who has no idea how I feel (of course) and how I'm a walking talking paradox, being the most cynical person I know, but at the same time a starry-eyed dreamer. I have no idea where this is going to go because I'm writing as it is happening. It might turn out great, it might not; it's an adventure for everyone! At any rate, please enjoy :)

Psyche "Psycynic" McGee is passionate about three things: writing, dyeing her hair and being a cynic. Doomed to have her job (and her career) hanging on a thread, Psyche needs to write another story to impress her boss and thus, opportunity comes in a face of his child hood frenemy, Eros Harrington when he decided to stalk his ex -who just got engaged-and is heading towards the beautiful island of Greece to join a couples retreat with a catch: they have to pretend that they are-well, together. A free trip to the Greek islands and a great story that she could write, Psyche didn't refuse such offers. But, in the process of the pretending and being surrounded with couples, there were somethings in store for her: she found herself facing the things she refuses to believe for a long time and some past that she left unsolved. Love is patient, Love is kind... Vows you hear during a wedding, a celebration of love, but I highly doubt I'll ever find myself saying those words. Emery is a cynic when it comes to love, she has heard the love story of her mum and dad and she doubts that any type of love will live up to their story. But, of course, that is all about to change, because you wouldn't be reading this story if it didn't.

"The roses are dead, The violets are too, Don't mention romance, You'll make me spew." Francesca Burton knows all there is to know about love and romance. She knows that love is for the naïve and romance is for the delusional. Her parents taught her that. So, there is absolutely no chance that some (admittedly) good-looking, (vaguely) charming, (annoyingly) lopsided-grinning, golden boy is going to convince her otherwise. End of story. Except it isn't. Because they have to do a school project together. And the golden boy just said four little words that are going to change everything - irrevocably and forever... "I have an idea."
