After finishing boatloads of stressful work, Cyno takes Tighnari on a day trip to a waterfall; hoping that the scenery and calming water can give his friend a piece of mind. It is there that Cyno makes a decision. A confession that he has considered for years. (This prompt was inspired by the song "Rule 34: Waterfall" by Fish in a Birdcage.)

One day Tighnari decided that Collei was finally ready to go with him. The withering zones were getting smaller and less dangerous so Tighnari thought that she could learn a thing or two if she went woth them. That would be his biggest regret ever. When they were fighting of the enemy's one of them hit Collei with something poisonous. After some analyzing they found out that the only way to cure her is to use a mixture of some herbs and plants that you could only find in the desert. No one ever dared to go there, after all the desert is the most dangerous place in Sumeru. Tighnari who still felt guilty decided that he would travel to the desert to find the herbs and plants to heal her. Whilst traveling through the desert he met a very interesting companion, who'll help him with his quest but maybe also with something else~ This is my second story ever. It's a fanfic about Cyno x Tighnari. I just love this ship so I had to write this✨

One of the criteria for Cyno's graduation from the Akademiya, much to his chagrin, isa cross-disciplinary project with researchers from other Darshans. That is when Lisa refers him to Tighnari, a student of the Amurta Darshan. Little does Lisa know how well the two will end up getting along ... Or, Cynonari meet cute. I hope to write from their early Akademiya days when they first meet, up until the present day in the story. Some attempts at canon compliance/canon world building, but I am just writing this for fun, so sorry if I make any mistakes. Anyways lemme just break down what's going on here: •NSFW DNI There will absolutely be no smut and or lemon in this story and going on so go find another fic with that stuff. •UNCANON EVENTS There could be moments where the story goes off original plot and or quests. •POSSIBLE INACCURATE INFORMATION Although I play Genshin myself, there are still a lot of things that I need to learn about the characters and plot, so if you're like,"Hey, they wouldn't do that!" or "Hey, that's not what happened!" just accept that Genshin is a long game and it's hard for me to soak in any information. Will they end up going out of business? Or maybe they will become more popular as a result? Only time will tell. (I didn't make the cover art nor do I know the artist but full credit to them!)

SET IN CHINA, WHERE THE SECTS PUT THEIR MAIN AREAS. THEIR MAIN LANGUAGE IS CHINESE (sorry) Only four (five) known Sects at the moment; they are the: Sumerian Sect Liyuean Sect Inazuman Sect Mondstadt Sect And the Snezhnayan Sect (Aka Fatui, they practice Demonic cultivation, cultivation that opposes Celestia or the original cultivation practices.) Spiritual energy can manifest in 7 forms- Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Geo, Dendro, Electro, and Cyro. We start from the Sumerian Black Market, where cultivation vessels are sold. Cultivation vessels are used by cultivators while Dual Cultivating, helping the cultivators gain more spiritual energy from using the vessels. (Dual cultivation is a form of cultivating your spiritual energy through intercourse.) Cyno, the General Mahamatra, is the Top cultivator (apart from the vice leader, whose identity and whereabouts are unknown) in the Sumerian Sect. He has recently reached a bottleneck in the Void stage, which is not good, especially because of the war between the four Sects. His friends get him a cultivation vessel, who seems to rebel against Cyno, despite the belief that cultivation vessels give themselves up to become vessels to escape prison, as most cultivation vessels are criminals. This cultivation vessel has been poisoned, and with his cultivation base, it should've been impossible for him to not be at least of the Void level. However, Cyno has never met him before.
