Dinner parties were a tradition for us, up until the incident. We had one every Sunday night. There were four of us. Delphia, Jasper, Beckham, and me Darci. I may appear to be that brown haired, blue eyed, shy girl next door, but that’s because you can’t read my mind.

As I set my hands on the controls my heart begins to race. Not because this is the first video game I have ever played, but because this could be my very last. As much as I try I will never find one good thing about reaping day in District 2.
