In reality, Ilona is the daughter of the Opera Ghost, Erik. She is beloved by her mother and more or less tolerated by her reclusive, and mad, father. Her father's interest in her only extends to her musical talent and her ability to stir rumors of the Phantom to instill fear in the members of the company. (This is basically going to be a cluster-f*ck of all the Phantom canons I choose to pull from. So expect Leroux, Webber, Chaney, and hell even a dab Phantom of the Paradise.)
