The animatronics were repaired from his disabling them to obtain their upgrades, resetting them back to their original selves. But with no home or family to go back to Gregory decides to return, maybe things would be different. After all, there were plans for expansion so no one would find him easily, and no killer bunnies or robots should be after him this time. However, there's one mystery that was never solved.
