Daedalus hikaye

A retelling of the classic myth of a teen who flew too high, made all the more haunting by the background of why Icarus was in the sky at all, and just what made him desire the sun so much.

The story of Daedalus

Ikaros, the half human, half Aviatte boy living in the Aviatte cloud city Parnaia has always been viewed as an outcast because of his parentage. Daedalus, his father, is a well-known architect and craftsman who often travels down to the earth-bound cities of the humans, and the subterranean world of the Hadeans. However, because his mother was a human woman, Ikaros was born without the wings characteristic to the Aviatta subspecies. When he turns eighteen, Daedalus sends young Ikaros down to Earth in search of his mother, and along the way he meets Hephaestus, a Hadean girl with a talent for metalworking. Together, they must track down Ikaros' missing parent as well as learn about the world that separates Ikaros' cloud cities from Phae's underground settlements.

This is a story I wrote when I was younger for a Latin Competition. I tied with my best friend for second in Nationals, so I am publishing it here. It is the story of Daedalus' mother and her odd childhood.

Icarus was told not to fly too close to the Sun, but he did not listen. his father believed that he had plummeted to his death. But that is not what happened.

A letter from a father promising to love and cherish his young boy. Even in death. A tale retold throughout the times. This is a work of fiction. Wrote based on the myth of Icarus from his father Daedalus before he was captured. It is only a letter. Children, take heed of your parents warnings and know it is better to die for an attempt of freedom than to die rotting in a cage.

Flapping his new wings, Icarus was like a hatchling taking his first flight. As he glided over the ocean, he gazed up into the heavens. Yearning to meet the gods, he ignored his father's cries and ascended into the clouds...

Daedalus Hallett, better known as David is the younger sibling of Annabeth Chase. During a routine Capture the Flag game David is whisked away to the mansion.

This is a story follows the adventure of Miya Watt, the second survivor of the habitation vessel Aurora. In the intro of "Subnautica" it is said that there was only one survivor of the Aurora. But a lone pod was ejected from a jettisoned section of the Aurora, and Miya was fortunate (unfortunate) enough to survive. Don't expect it to follow the game much.

Always expect the unexpected. Drake is, and has always been living his calm life in middle school where he's the top of the class in creative writing, his friends and teachers are awesome, and Mira is always student council president. But along the way, the two of them realise that this is race against time, one that their lives depended on.
