Ini cerita di negeri Korea Selatan. Ahn Chae Ryung, gadis culun asal Daegu. Yang memutuskan merantau ke Seoul untuk mencari Geun Se Hoon, kekasihnya. Di Seoul Chae Ryung bertemu dengan Kang Moo Ryong, pria yang hampir menabraknya ketika ingin menyebrang. Moo Ryong memberikan tumpangan kepada Chae Ryung, dengan cara menyewakan satu kamar tamu di rumahnya dan membayar sewaan per bulan. Namun sikap Moo Ryong semakin seenaknya ketika sang kakak, Kang Moo Yeol memutuskan untuk melanjutkan studinya di Jerman serta kedua orang tuanya mengurus bisnis di Amerika. Kerapkali Chae Ryung selalu ditagih bayaran sewa kamar dengan harga yang tinggi. Sikap Moo Ryong yang menganggap dirinya seperti pembantu membuat Chae Ryung gemas dan memutuskan untuk merubah sikap Moo Ryong perlahan-lahan. Perjalanan pahit itu berakhir manis ketika Moo Ryong jatuh cinta kepada Chae Ryung. Namun ia harus menahan rasa cinta itu lantaran kedatangan Chae Ryung ke ibukota hanya ingin menemui kekasihnya. Sekolah mereka saat itu tengah kehadiran dua orang murid baru. Tak disangka, salah satu murid baru tersebut adalah Geun Se Hoon. Chae Ryung semakin lega karena perjuangannya di Seoul untuk mencari Se Hoon telah usai. Tidak dengan Moo Ryong yang harus merelakan Chae Ryung kembali dengan kekasih lamanya. Jalinan cinta antara Chae Ryung dan Se Hoon semakin manis. Bahkan dalam kurun waktu beberapa minggu, Chae Ryung akan kembali ke Daegu. Namun hubungan antara Chae Ryung dan Moo Ryeong sedikit merenggang lantaran Moo Ryeong menuduh Se Hoon telah menduakan Chae Ryung dengan Kim Tae Ra, murid baru yang datang bersamaan dengan Se Hoon saat itu. Perbuatan jahat yang dilakukan Se Hoon terhadap Chae Ryung benarlah terjadi. Ia sudah resmi berpacaran dengan Tae Ra 3 bulan yang lalu. Perjuangan Chae Ryung begitu sia-sia bahkan dirinya memutuskan untuk kembali ke Daegu. Akankah Moo Ryeong menghentikan kepergian Chae Ryung dan mengungkapkan isi hati kepadanya ?
