With the death of King Aerys and the suspected death of Rhaegars family, Rhaella crowned Viserys kind of the seven kingdoms, although the great houses recognized Robert Baratheon as the new lord of the seven kingdoms.

Then suddenly a there was light again and Rhaenyra found that Drogon had landed in the middle of a wide green field in a world where she did not recognize anything and anyone. She is but a child of just six namedays and not counting the great dragon that she now riders, there is no one else by her side. Ned Stark is smuggled out of King's Landing by Ser Davos by order of Stannis Baratheon. But when Ned Stark realises that Stannis will not be a good king, he flees to Pentos. Ned stumbles upon Daenerys accidently. He offers her his services as an advisor. In return she will help Robb defeat the Lannisters. Daenerys arrives in Westeros right before the Red Wedding and they are able to stop it. Together they take King's Landing after Renly agrees to kneel to Daenerys in Order to keep Storm's End.
