In a poorly managed kingdom with little to no wealth, the royal family's female descendants pass down their only trick for survival: white hair. Princess Yui, the last white haired princess and heir of her kingdom, is anything but an average princess. She's a mistress of seduction who hides her feelings beneath a facade of mockery and smirks. With a father who treats her the same as one would treat a priced item for sale, her probabilities of freedom are pretty slim. As an attempt to escape, she comes across a tall sarcastic but alcoholic prince who's on the run himself. As difficult as it is to get along, they must fend for themselves as they run further and further towards danger and into the enemy's hands.

The last she remembers from her old life was her body swinging from a rope 'til death took her. She only awakes again though, in another world much different from hers. Finding two daggers with black stones strapped to her back and hearing the legend of the Cardinal Heroes, she travels with her faithful companion, and rises to become a legend. I watched him carefully as he bent down slowly towards my ear, his breath fanning on my neck, and whispered in his very own English voice that I had known oh, so well. My breath keeps increasing. "Why are you always in the mood to kill?" ---- She was just walking home. Now nothing in Kayeen Ardolf's life is real. It was late. The streets were quiet. Kayleen had taken that path across the bridge a hundred times before, until the night she saw him. A stranger. A man draining the life out of another beneath the streetlight. "You Cannot Trust The Innocent." I was running down the hill, I was trying my best to run away from him. I knew he would kill me! I knew no one can escape from him! While running, I tripped into a big rock on the ground. I started to panic. I can't even stand on my own feet. The thunders roared and the sky watered down, pouring into my face. My legs were sore from running. My eyes are becoming blurry from all my thinking. My mind was only in one word: Fatigue. I'm tired. Then I heard the laughter from my back. I heard the footsteps are getting nearer, and nearer... then I heard the daggers are being sharpened. While I lay my front into the ground, something made me shiver in pain, the violent voice coming from my right ear. "Come on, Jason," he chuckled, I started to sob. "Let's play daggers, shall we?" Then he dragged me into nowhere, where I tried to escaped from his grip, pulling the ground, but only ended giving tracks. Both are the leaders of secret societies, not gangs, more like cults, with different perspectives on life and religion. Will wants an amulet, a very valuable amulet, which is in the possession of Ari, who is in hiding. He captures Elia to interrogate her, as Ari is now not only her mentor, but also her lover.
