The vault hunters have found themselves once again trying to uncover the secrets of an unseen vault. A vault that had been under their noses the entire time... Darkness took over the lands they once loved. And it destroyed the ones they cared about most...

This is a fan fiction about the short story, "The Way Up to Heaven" by Roald Dahl. When an old man can't wait for his blithering, manic and paranoid wife to get out of his hair for a few weeks it seems as though everything is trying to stop her. They're both anxious for her to leave but is there something more sinister going on?

Sylvia Stone lost her father when she was baby and grew up with only her mother and dear family friend Marvin Ambrosius. Now eighteen, she participates in an Arthurian Literature class that studies the Once and Future King. However, all is not as it seems and to to Sylvia, this could mean a life or death stalemate as history threatens to repeat itself. What will this mean for Sylvia? Only time will tell.
