In the village of Togoudo in 883, a mysterious tragedy strikes a family, leaving a woman grieving the loss of her husband and son. The village chief calls for Kantaka, the wisest man in the village, to investigate the deaths. As Kantaka delves into the mystery, he uncovers secrets and supernatural forces that threaten the entire village. He must use his intellect and courage to uncover the truth and protect Togoudo from further harm
