Venomous Tongues is a satirical poem about the corrupt nature of political office holders in Nigeria. It presents the Nigerian situation in a dining table setting in which the participants dig into the morsel (crude oil) without fear or favour to anyone. The political leaders are metaphorically describes as wolves & predators of each other. The poem is a free-verse, run-on-line poem with no spaces for pauses used to convey the serious nature of the theme. The themes of the poem are: Corruption, War, Political Instability among others

This is supposed to be a compilation of poems I have written or will write in the future. Just some impressions I have written down. The title is referring to the song with the same name from "Wizard of Oz"(just coz I like it:). I will be uploading poems here every once in a while, when I feel like it. Love you!
