Dailywriting Stories

Because I'm getting antsy from not posting and my profile seems really blank, I want to start catching up on posting the daily journal prompts we write in my creative writing class. We take 10 minutes to write for each journal, so the entries are rarely complete thoughts. They're not daily, per se, but I just want to post them. Give y'all something to read. Spoilers for incoming projects, maybe? Things I thought about adding in later, but might not. Really just an outlet for imagination.

A couple of writing prompts I had picked up off the internet and decided to store here. Hope you enjoy one of my daily (or ever so often) writing exercise!

This is about the time after I'm recovered from depression and are dealing with lots of trouble in making friends at school, just simply something to share and right now I'm totally fine, I'm also trying to help the kids who are having depression to have a chance to freely talk about themselves and to solve the problem in real life. Yeah, like the profile said, I'm somehow a weirdo ;P

These poems come from different versions of me-gentle, wounded, hopeful, lost, in love, and learning. This book is a place where every feeling is allowed to breathe. From love to loneliness, healing to heartbreak, each poem reflects a story, a memory, or a moment I didn't want to forget. This is my heart, written in pieces.

Best friends Jen and Jackson tend to find themselves in the craziest of situations, but they always pull through because they have each other. Along with a small group of their closest friends, they will tackle whatever life throws at them. Jail time, insane dreams about being a superhero, being lost in the woods, and even facing down a serial killer, there's nothing this duo can't tackle! This book is a series of short stories that I've written using the daily writing prompts from writerswrite.co.za, which I get in my email each morning. I've done my best to make each story flow into the next, but since some of the prompts are off the wall, it can get a bit hard! Copyright © by Rain Reynolds

This started out as a daily writing project just to get myself writing again and I decided to make these short stories connect - thus, Rain's Completely Ordinary Life was born. These started out as short stories connected to the same three characters - Rain, Jackson, and Keith - but I decided to connect them and make them a series. Daily writing prompts I might want to turn into full stories.

Set myself to writing a set of short stories based on prompts just to get the writing gears going. SF and pure fantasy or weird stuff Nothing too elaborate, mostly unedited . Free flowing flash fics one might say. Any observations, notes, questions, kicks to my padded back side for rambling or being silly are more than welcome :)
