Daisy Herrmann has been falling apart since the eighth grade. Crippled with social anxiety and a set of trust issues that keeps all possible friends far away, she's not doing so hot right now. Gabriel Colt loves broken things. He's grown up holding them together, be it the animals he works with at the animal shelter or even his family. So when he sees Daisy Herrmann, quiet, shy, clearly broken Daisy Herrmann, he can't help but want to fix her. But the truth of the matter is that Gabe is also desperately in need of some fixing himself, and nobody seems to want to do it. In the end, all he and Daisy really need is a hand to hold.
