The Doctor knew he wasn't supposed to fall in love. He was a Time Lord, the last one. They always looked down on interspecies relationships. Then why was he crying? Over a dead body? Stupid story I'm writing

At one point, a somewhat short time ago for him but far in the future for us as we know it, this particular Dalek was the Chief Strategist for the pride of the Dalek fleet: the massive, grand Brigade 116. But that was then. Now, after much conflict, he has a name, a home, a companion, and a vast capacity for emotions. On a mission to do his duty and prevent the destruction of the Daleks from reaching Earth, however, Cai finds that he has to reencounter his despised past in the most discouraging of ways. This is a small part of a larger story I'm working on called "Emptiness of the Daleks." I don't own Doctor Who, nor did I create the Daleks. I created Cai and Camille, however, and all the individual little mad Daleks in between. I also created the cover image. This story is not for a profit nor is it intended to infringe on any legal rights or whatever.
