This is is how I would write the next Star Wars movie if I wrote it.

takes place when Rey and Poe meet at the end of the Last Jedi. Don't read if you haven't seen the movie yet. I really hope you enjoy! *DAMEREY IS A CRACKSHIP YALL, finnpoe was robbed by disney's homophobic asses*

Rey was fine. That's what she told her friends. She wasn't. Four weeks after Exegol, the Force feels wrong. Without the connection she had learned to live with, it flows differently-wider, deeper. Harder to control. And no one knows the truth. That she died. That she nearly succumbed. That their worst enemy saved her - Saved them all. That she didn't hate him. She doesn't think her friends could accept it. She isn't sure they should. But the weight of Rey's secrets is pulling her under. Poe Dameron sees Rey struggling and refuses to let her drown, even as he grapples with the impossible task of holding a fragile peace together. He can't lose more people. He can't lose her. Ultimately, Rey will have to choose- continue to carry everything alone, or trust someone else to stand beside her.

* takes place after tros * A year has passed since the defeat of the Final Order and much has changed. Rey Skywalker has made Endor a safeplace for the remaining resistance, and a training ground for the last users of the force - all she has to do is find them. Meanwhile, General Dameron and Finn patrol the Galaxy, and rid of any fleeing imperial supporters, making sure that the Resistance's victory is rightfully theirs to keep. ...And amongst it all, new relationships form, and bittersweet feelings are exchanged. Finn frowned at Poe's distant expression. "Where's Rey?" Instead of answering, Poe took a long look at the little droid sitting in the corner of the room. Finally having caught his owner's attention, BB-8 let out a series of mournful beeps, making him sigh in defeat. "Your friend?" Poe asked. "She's been missing for more than 4 days now on her search for Luke Skywalker. We can't use the map to track her as she took the R2 droid with her on the Millennium Falcon, nor can we contact her via holo - she just refuses to pick up. Right now the Resistance is in shreds after destroying Starkiller Base, and we're running out of options very quickly." Finn took a deep breath in, trying not to panic. The last time he'd seen Rey she had been knocked unconscious by... "What happens if Kylo Ren finds her before us?" he asked suddenly, voicing his fears. "Then we're all doomed."

After the war, Poe and Rey fall in love. This might just be a series of Dameron family oneshots, idk. Ah well. Might not be canon compliant considering we still have one movie that hasn't come out yet ? Also this is fanfiction and these characters are not mine !

So after much debate with myself I have finally decided to write down what I think could, and highly likely won't happen but its fun to write anyway what will happen in the upcoming new Star Wars film. You may not agree with my ships but this IS NOT A REYLO story but I may hint just to keep excitement levels up, there will be death, loss, love, fighting (Jedi and X-Wing/ TIE fighters).
