With the increasing stress of the pressing tertiary-workplace environment, Y/N naturally finds themself in their local jazz bar by 9pm, where they savour a single drink, read a book, and allow their mind rest to the ambience of smooth jazz produced by aspiring artists. However, whatever contemporary fiction Y/N happens to be reading at a given moment is put down when a noticeably gamine (but nonetheless elegant) girl sets herself on a wooden stool - acoustic guitar slung over her shoulder - and announces the original title of the upcoming pieces, and indulges her audience alongside the usual live band. Y/N can't keep their eyes (and ears) off of the figure. Particularly in the case of a single, unnamed piece, always performed at 11:30 on the dot, no matter the tracklist prior. This song, as entrancing as it is, taints Y/N, as internal conflict rises alongside their establishing feelings, not just for the sound, but for the one responsible for it also.
