The is my interpretation of the beginning of season 4. Nobody knows that Elena is sired to Damon yet. But the sire bond story line will come in this story, so will the vampire hunter. In my version Elena drinks Damon's blood because she can't keep down animal blood. They go around sneaking her drinking from Damon and hiding it from everyone, especially Stefan. The thing is sharing blood is very intimate. And what happens when Elena finds herself enjoying it? Elena and Damon aren't going to get together instantly I hate when fanfics do this. A song I wrote centered around Delena (Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert) during the episode of the Vampire Diaries, "We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes", during the scene of them on the bridge. The last line means that Elena is telling Damon that Stefan always knew that she truly loved Damon.
