At Bringston University, the Ermington name carries immense power, generational wealth, and a suffocating list of unwritten rules. But Elisabeth Elise Ermington wants absolutely nothing to do with the flawless corporate path her elite high-society family has meticulously laid out for her. Armed with a fierce mind, an attitude, and a genius talent for statistical analysis, she trades elite networking luncheons for the dirt of the Bringston baseball dugout, stepping into the high-stakes role of the team's lead data analyst. Elisabeth is fully prepared to fight for her respect in a locker room full of massive personalities who assume she's just an entitled legacy hire. What she isn't prepared for is Damon Sims. As the country's top high school recruit who shocked the sports world by turning down the MLB draft for an HBCU, Damon is carrying the entire future of Bringston athletics on his right arm. Suffocating under the relentless media spotlight and devastating family secrets, he keeps everyone at arm's length. But in Elisabeth, he finds the only person in the dugout who doesn't see a headline or a savior-just a guy trying to stay afloat. When late-night film reviews turn into stolen glances in empty dugouts, the strict numbers and spreadsheets Elisabeth relies on begin to blur into undeniable chemistry. With the pressure mounting on the field and her elite family threatening her future off it, Elisabeth and Damon are forced to confront an impossible choice: protect the separate legacies built for them, or tear up the playbook to build a new one together.

─ ❝For at long as I'm here, baby that's okay with me ❞ 彡★ As young black adults who must stay content with the high stakes of college sports, Tiana, Simone, and Damon will navigate the highs, lows, and sexiness of unsupervised adulthood at a prestigious HBCU.

For Thea and Damon, falling in love was the easy part, staying there is another story. Read if you are a Dhea fan and if not, maybe you will be by the end of this work.

Athena Jessie Raymond, better known as Jessie or AJ, is the life of the party and the heart of every room she enters at Bringston University. A talented art major with a wild streak, Jessie thrives on late-night sketch sessions, chaotic dorm-room conversations, and unforgettable nights at the KEK house. As the twin sister of JR, she's fiercely protective of her friendships-best friends with Gabby, roommates with Thea, and the girl everyone secretly wants to know. But her love life? That's another story. Jessie's world takes a sharp turn when she realizes her feelings for Lucas Green, JR's close friend, KEK brother, and the campus heartthrob. Lucas is confident, bold, and never shy about making his attraction known-especially when it comes to Jessie. He's always been the kind of guy who knows exactly what he wants and goes for it, and it's no secret that Jessie has caught his eye. But their chemistry is undeniable, and the more they spend time together-whether it's late-night conversations or moments stolen at parties-the stronger their connection grows. As their relationship deepens, Jessie finds herself torn. She's fiercely independent, but the allure of Lucas's attention and the way he sees through her tough exterior to the vulnerability beneath makes her question everything. She's no stranger to chaos, but with Lucas, the stakes feel higher. Their love could bring her everything she's ever wanted-or it could tear apart the very world she's worked to build. Caught between her fiery independence, her loyalty to JR, and the undeniable pull of Lucas's confidence, Jessie must decide if she's willing to risk it all for a love that could change everything. I don't own any character or art, the only thing I own is Athena.
