However, one of them discovers a mysterious magical bird, and they resolve to follow it. It will be a long and difficult journey, that will take all of their wits and will, and they will face tests and have to make hard choices. What will they discover? Will it be what they are looking for?

Fairytales were the first stories I fell in love with. I often imagined myself as the fair princess who needed to be rescued by the dashing prince. I waited to be swept away to a magical land, and to seal my fate for the happily ever after I dreamt about. I waited and waited and waited. When would my prince come? She's semi-popular, has an amazing family and the boy she's liked for years has started showing iterest in her. Everything's good - until she has an accident which leaves her in a coma for 5 months. Now Katerina has to cope with going back to school with a healing broken leg, betrayal from someone she thought would never hurt her and backstabbing as she learns the real reasons she was involved in the accident that devastatingly cost her to lose the last 5 months of her life.

This story is about a Renaissance female pirate named Scarlet saving a damsel in distress for a profit but it takes an unexpected turn for what may be the better.
