Stranded in the Eternal Land of Amphoreus and unexpectedly embroiled in the intricate Flame-Chase Journey of the endowed Chrysos Heirs, Dan Heng chooses to use whatever spare time he has to learn about this newly-discovered world, observing the life, culture, and history of its inhabitants. He is slowly adjusting to many things: to the everlasting dawn under the watchful gaze of the Worldbearing Titan, to the life of those residing in the city where the sun never sets, and, among others, to the occasional "clash" between two particular Chrysos Heirs, Phainon of Aedes Elysiae and the undying Mydeimos of Kremnos. ...No. Perhaps a "clash" is not the correct term to describe their strangely deep rivalry, to their habit of getting into competition at every opportunity they have, and their ability to turn even the most ordinary match into a fierce confrontation between two soon-to-be demigods. But is a sense of rivalry all there is behind the pair's bizarre obsession with outdoing each other, or is there something else that only the two of them know?

Lately, Caelus has taken on a habit of disappearing in his sleep. No, not actually disappearing, but "disappearing". It started a bit after the whole Göethe Hotel arrest fiasco. After several of these experiences, the Astral crew decided that whenever they had to sleep in a foreign place, at least one of them would room with Caelus and make sure he doesn't escape into the night again. Only if they were in a foreign area, though. So why exactly is Dan Heng in his room right now?

Dan Heng never had a place he could call home, and neither has Caelus. They have a long way to go before they realize the simple truth - home is where the heart is.

I stared at my phone. Pure impatience coursed through my veins, and I could feel myself sweating bullets. 'No,' I told myself. Don't message first. Not yet. It's too early. A moment passed. I picked up my phone hastily, and opened the Messages app. My thumbs hovered over the keyboard, hands quivering in excitement and nervousness. I gulped. A chime. I sent the message. Oh, why did I do that? Now he's gonna think I'm weird---so, super weird for texting first, and a message from me is so out of the blue, too! I felt as if I could just roll up into a ball and di--- A soft vibration from my phone. When the light faded, Dan Heng found himself standing in a place that was both familiar and foreign. The air was thick with the scent of blooming flowers and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore. He blinked, trying to clear his vision, and realised he was no longer in the Conclave Hall. Instead, he was standing in the middle of a bustling street, surrounded by people dressed in traditional Xianzhou attire. "Where... are we?" March's voice came from beside him, her tone filled with confusion. Caelus was already on his feet, his eyes scanning their surroundings, "This... Looks like the Luofu. But it's... Different." Dan Heng's heart sank as he took in the sight. The architecture, the people, even the air itself - it all felt ancient, as if they had been transported to a time long before the Luofu he knew. His gaze fell on a nearby banner, its characters written in an archaic script. His blood ran cold as realisation dropped onto him. "We're in the past," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "This is the Luofu... A thousand years ago." Before they could process the implications of Dan Heng's words, a familiar voice called out to them, "You there! What are you doing standing in the middle of the street?" They turned to see a man with long white hair and a confident stride approaching them. His grey eyes were sharp, his demeanour commanding, and his presence unmistakable. "Blade?" Dan Heng breathed, his voice tinged with disbelief. But this wasn't the Blade they knew. This was a younger (old?) version of him, his face unmarred by the scars of time and his eyes free of the hatred that had haunted Dan Heng's dreams. He looked... Alive. - in which the astral express crew found a mysterious time-travelling device in the xianzhou luofu and accidentally transported themselves, jing yuan, jingliu, and the stellaron hunters back a thousand years ago and met the high-cloud quintet.
