Dancemacabre Stories

The Dance Macabre, The Dance of Death - this was the name this war was given, this war that took so many away, that scarred the hearts of all the remaining nations. This heinous war would bare into those who had survived forevermore, the sights they had seen seared into their minds, the sadness they felt for the dead, enemy or ally - those whose dance had come to an end, loved ones and lovers, enemies and friends. No matter who it was, everyone wept for those taken by The Dance of Death.

Danse Macabre is a famous classical music piece that I really like. I looked up the back story of the song and found really interesting interpretations of people dancing to their deaths. So I thought I would create a story where people actually dance to their deaths in a parade. The beginning and end are honestly so separate they could be two different stories but here is what I came up with!
