Kendall goes to Gordon F. High School and is a sophomore, finally. When Kendall meets a boy she goes to dance class at Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC), she tells her friends all about it. But when she starts dating him she realizes he is a bad boy and she needs to bring out her bad side.

A troop of girls, intimidated by the reality of high school. Everyone is running into conflict, desperately searching for various answers and guidance. One elegant night, the clique is digging through old, rusty boxes the girls come across a mystifying board coated with dust. Could this board be the salvation of their answers? Or will it just make things worse?

Madison watched, tears brimming her eyes as she watched Gino, her boyfriend, make out with the school hottie Chloe. She ran into the bathroom to clean herself up, until she heard a faint "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" hollering from outside. She stepped out of the bathroom to see what it was about, only too see the school badass, Luke Hemmings, beating the shit out of Gino.

The One •Chapter 1• -Kendall's POV- "Kendall K Vertes, if you don't get your butt down here in 3 seconds your going to be late!" I hear my mom scream "I'll be down in a minute I have to do my make up!!!" I screamed back to her as I got in the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and said to myself "you can make it! It might be the middle of the school year but you can do it! Your strong enough and plus no ones going to be mean to you on your first day... Are they?" I started to put on my make up. I glanced in the mirror again as soon as I was done I did a list in my head that went. •White laced crop top •Jean shorts •Bow •Curled hair •Make up •Sandals •charm bracelet There's something missing... OH almost forgot! My diamond heart neckles, it was the last thing my dad gave to me before he died from a terrible car accident. It's just been my mom and I for a while. All throughout middle school, I've repeatedly been referred to as the nerd. I always had my nose stuck in a book, got a 100% on every single test, and I was always missing cool parties studying for Algebra 1 or Advanced Language Arts or doing my class assignments ahead of time. Occasionally, (okay alot) Kalani and her clique would bother me since I was such a geek but most of the time Principal Winters caught them, and they'd have to spend an hour after school in detention, not a surprise. Luckily, I wasn't a major loser, otherwise I'd probably spend all of my lunch period sobbing in the bathroom. But, surprise, surprise, I actually have real friends. My two best friends are Nia Frazier and Jojo Siwa. They're always there for me and are the best people ever. We all dance at the ALDC with the clique. It's summer right now and everyone will change before high school, including me. My main goal is for Kalani Hilliker to transform me into a popular-looking girl. Let's see if that's even possible. Get your popcorn ready and get comfortable because we're gonna be here for a while. This, my friends, is what I like to call my ultimate makeover.

They never wanted to be Villians. All they want is to be accepted. They all use their special talents for good never evil. There are princesses at enchanted elementary. They bully the "villians". There are lots of things that you regret in life. Like that slice of pizza you snuck before bed last night or looking off of the smart kid's paper in math class. Now, I could sit here and tell you for hours on end all of my regrets one by one. From birth to just a second ago. But some of my biggest regrets have occurred to me recently. I'm surprised that I was that dumb enough to believe all of those spilled secrets and rumors. I was actually dumb enough to fall into Joelle freaking Siwa's trap.
