Delisa Kingston is a beautiful dancer, but is searching to find her place. She does not see her talent, and is constantly comparing herself to her friends. Ellis Ivey is driven, and single minded in her pursuit of her dreams. Abishola Adebomi is just naturally fluid. Natural dancer, it never took much for her to know how to move in the moment. Since the day her mother reluctantly allowed a 10 year old Abi dance, she has become one of the most talented dancers at AAPA. Maia Johnson is Ellis's cousin, talented but not exactly wanting to be a dancer. She is going to do something great, but she doesn't know what it will be. She is walking through life trying to rush to the formidable woman she is surely going to be. These Four have achieved fantastic things together, they were supportive of each other and loved each other like family. But growing pains get to us all. These girls were no exception. The teenage years are brutal, as everything now comes at odds with each of them. Hormones and boys, Sexuality and identity. Determination Drive and destiny. In other words life becomes the very thing that threatens their bond.
