This ruins Laura's bond with her grandaughter.

Ciara auditioned in her dance studio hoping to get the opportunity of a lifetime like everyone said she'll get, she danced accordingly to the beat and poured her heart out while dancing but the music stopped abruptly just when she was in mid air, not knowing what to do as the music was turned off unexpectedly, she fell down and hit her head hard but that was not all, she twisted her ankle. "You have a gift of following the beat but not control, you can get that when your legs are healed." Kylie Santiago had told her. The words sank into her to the point that even after her ankle was healed in a week she did not return to her dance studio as she could no longer feel the best.

Caitlynn and Kevin first acquainted two years ago - she was about to be a freshman and he to be a junior back then. They met during Sir Jameson Secondary's special summer school program for extra credits - she a student, he a program volunteer. Here they met and built a friendship throughout that summer vacation before school started up again. Friendship grew deeper, turning into crushes. Hang outs turned into dates. This then formed a relationship into the new year. They faced their own struggles and social stigmas but pulled through with a strong bond shared between one another. Naturally, they also befriended each other's friends over time. One of them being Kevin's long-time best friend, Levi, who has also recently transferred to SJS for his Junior year. What happens when new feelings grow amongst existing ones? Will they be able to over come new obstacles that challenge their friendship and love? The life of a dancer. It's brutal. There are upsides that make you scream with joy, and downsides that make you wish you had never been born. Its painful. Its tough. But I doubt any dancer would rather do anything else. Ophelia Patterson is a dancer, and exceptionally good for her young age of 14. She has a whole family at Step II Dance Center. She loves what she does, and her friends agree. Ophelia battles balancing her dancing with her schoolwork, and staying on top of everything. Dive into this wonderful year, as they experience pain, happiness and joy. I created this story about my life, and the characters are real people, I have given them different names for the sake of the story. I've made some stuff up, a lot of the details are not exactly true. I have tried to make personalities and appearances as true as possible, but a lot of other details, such as family, will be entirely made up. The name of some of the business's, such as Step II Dance Center, and The Burg, are real places that exist in real life. Thank you for reading!
