When thirteen year old dancer Emme gets caught up in a custody war when her parents divorce, the only thing she can turn to is her quickly progressing dance career. Emme applies to a dance company and gets accepted, she has to decide whether she wants to stick with family or go to her dream school, as a teen, Emme's life pirouettes into a new perspective. Her decision also includes a boy, her best friend since the age of five, when Emme started dance. What will they do?

Short story inspired by the song Dancing On My Own. Specifically, the covers by Callum Scott and Kato. Staged in a dance club, this is my interpretation of two people affected by the song.

Kibum is in love with Jinki (who doesn't have a clue about that), Minho knows the situation and always cheers him up. Everything changes when they are invited to a party, and meet a girl Kibum had problems with.

John is painfully aware of how shy and insecure he is. Which is why he doesn't dance or play bass often. It takes a lot of liquid courage for him to go out on the dance floor, usually because he doesn't have a dance partner. But when he's in the comfort of his bedroom or properly drunk, he'll let the music takeover his body. Playing bass alone isn't the same thing as rocking out with a proper band. So he writes songs and bass riffs that way when he joins a band he'll be prepared to wow them. If he ever stops being shy long enough to audition for a band. or John Deacon just wants to dance and play his bass.
