Maxx is a prince who sneaks away from his royal way of living every night to explore the castle. He realizes there is one place he cannot explore, the stars, and sneaks up onto the palace roof to gaze at them. There, he finds Cody, an undercover spy from an enemy kingdom disguised as a peasant. The two, having no idea of the other's royal status or motive, become secret friends and meet every night to look into space and form an unlikely friendship. Will their bond be strong enough to make Cody push aside his mission to assassinate the prince, or will Maxx find out the other male's true identity and rat him out?

So this story is an AU for the band Set It Off. I don't want to give away any details, so that's the only context you'll get ;)

Maxx is in an abusive relationship with Austin, Cody's got a crush on Maxx, Dan's got a girlfriend, and Zach's got a secret crush. Carziger happens. This is a sequel to my Palaye Royale fanfic, Boom Boom Room. Even though Palaye isn't in this story, this is a sequel for Pop The Clutch. After touring with Palaye Royale, Pop The Clutch decides to take a break and take the time to make their very first album. As Valentine's Day rolls around, Emory drags the band to a Set It Off concert. Knowing how well SIO has written their songs, Emory hopes the concert will help inspire PTC. But what will happen when Ronnie starts to fall for Maxx? Will it end in heart break or will they make the long distance relationship work? How will Ronnie react when Johnny gets back together with his ex?

In reality, Maxx should have seen this coming. No, he should have known that it was too good to be true. He's never had the best of luck but this; this is a whole other kind of misfortune. And it all started the day one Cody Carson entered his life.

Cody was a normal kid; Left school, a nice girlfriend and is looking for a job to buy a home. He's been trying for the last 3 months to find a job, but every place has rejected him. But it wasn't until he received a message saying he got a job.. one he never applied for? Edited by: @Kittywitty26

Cody Carson was living a normal life when he noticed he couldn't sleep. After figuring out one of his friends had chronic insomnia he tries to help his friend knowing he only has a few weeks left to live and didn't want to cause more trauma for his friend.
