Before all of this destruction had happened, I had never believed in 'what ifs', but now I can't keep myself from asking. What if I never found the ring? What if I had never learned its secrets? What if I had given its powers to someone else? What if I had never made the wish that destroyed the world? ~*~ This story revolves around Rose, a girl who lives a typically normal life. She has normal parents that hate each other, normal teachers that insist on hours of boring homework, and normal friends that bore her, but amuse her at the same time. Then her friend corners her, giving her the power to change her fate and make the abnormal her new norm. I saw a bunny squeak and run away in the distance. Shadow looked at me with an uncertain expression. "If it's alright with you," he said, shrugging. A flock of beautiful white birds called out shrilly behind me, and I jumped. I shook my head, then nodded, and then lay back into the grass. *** Dandelion is born into a small pack, with just her parents and two siblings. Her eldest sister, Willow, is dead - after she reaches the age, her parents decide now is the time to journey to the summer hunting grounds, but their trip does not go as planned, as Dandelion is forced to strike out on her own. Uncertain, Dandelion wanders away from her pack's old territory into new lands of Yellowstone National Park. There, she meets two brothers: Neo and Shadow. A dramatic adventure has just begun!
