This is an AU for dandy's world lore before Gardenview shut down. I wrote this around a year ago so the writing style may seem different or even a little cringy, so consider this a warning. Again, I made this up so none of it is canonically true. There will be only platonic relationships in this story, as I am focusing on Dandy's lore rather than romance. TW: Blood/ichor, gore, vomit, angst, abuse (kinda)

It has been 7 years since Gardenview shut down in 2002, and Dandy has been in the lobby ever since. Alone. 2009, Dandy finally does something. But little does he know the consequences of his actions.

"Shelly Fossilian", that was her name. She was a toon created by one of the founders of the world-famous show "Dandy's World" and the educational center, Gardenview. She was a main character with a passion and specialty for archaeology and paleontology, and as a main character she had a theme revolving around dinosaurs and other prehistoric life. Despite her wonderful role and subject, Shelly was far less as popular as the other main characters. Many of the visitors of Gardenview ignored her, her creators began to push her aside, and even her own friends began to grow distant away from her. It seemed like almost everyone around her was blatantly ignoring her. Shelly was deeply hurt by this. She was upset. Although with that, Shelly tried to be as optimistic as possible even whilst having her sorrow. Then, a nightmarish being from within the roots of her mind had appeared. The nightmare told her hurtful but truthful words, and to do things that she wouldn't ever want to. Shelly tried to resist. But the more she was treated in an undesirable way, the more she understood what the nightmare had said. The combination of the blatant ignorance of her existence and the dark force within her mind had started to enrage and break her, slowly turning her for the absolute worst . . . Now, the once friendly Toon is slowly nearing to the breaking point of something monstrous, potentially bringing danger and wrath to all of Gardenview.. As Dandy and Dyle carry on their important roles in Gardenview, their relationship grows over time. From associates, to friends, to lovers. The question is, who'll be the first to confess between the two toons? Who will be the first to intervene the relationship?

GardenView has rules. Go to work. Avoid the Twisteds. Come back alive. For Shimmer, a new mirror toon trying to find her place, it almost seems manageable-especially with another mirror, Glisten, reluctantly by her side. But when the Twisteds begin saying things they shouldn't know, old secrets surface, and Dandy himself starts to fall apart, the two mirrors find themselves caught in a mystery far bigger than either of them expected. With every trip underground, the line between friend and monster grows thinner. And some endings can't be avoided.

(this is a remake of a older story of mine, if you want to read the old version look at my account, that book is titled 'powerful twisteds') "The toons play in a show they have no memory of, only false hopes that what they heard of themselves was true. their part in the play isn't complete until they've reached their pull potential. The toons were given freedom of speech, their max potential only speaks the script they have, no useless words, they should thank me. When the curtains close they will only have me to thank for such a flawless performance." - What if dandy was the only cause of the twisteds, what if dandy twisted them into something unrecognizable? Thats just it. The world of gardenview is a mess, the place shut down- and dandy has gone missing, it was up to the mains to get the 'star of the show' back, but only one stuck with the plan after seeing the horrors that awaited down the elevator. The screams of their friends echo the flooring, every 'successful' mission leaves you dead or forever changed. Most toons would leave the elevator be- they couldn't risk their own lives saving someone else. But dandy lays waiting, aware, laying low under a smiling persona of a happy elevator worker to hide what he's been doing- and to hide his own face. . . . . !Might take longer to make new chapters due to me needing to reread my older book so it lines up!- not everything will be the same as the old book due to new lore.

Something is wrong, the Yoyleite isn't where it's supposed to be, it somehow sent the BFDIA contestants through space time into another universe! Arriving inside a strange facility, Book, Coiny, Fries, Needle, Nickel, Pin, and Tennis Ball come together and meet a variety of Dandy's World characters. Will they make it back to their timeline? Or will they be trapped forever? This is a stupid little fanfiction, don't expect it to be that good. This takes place mid BFDIA. Creative liberty's were taken in Dandy's World as there isn't too much lore to go off of. It is assumed you as the reader already have context for both BFDI and Dandy's World. Cover art by me.

God- Damn, this excessive editing is crazy! After a gruesome event, Vee, Shelly Sprout, D Slowly find clues to what really happened during the crash, and what they were suppose to ignore. What they should've never known, what they would've liked to forget. And they can't stop it from affecting all of us. Can they?
