Shuichi Saihara is the prince of a well known kingdom. It's just like any other old boring day, until this prince meets a peasant, with a certain spark to him. They soon find out that they are quite similar to each other, both longing for freedom. There's one problem. No one has ever made it to freedom before. The Kingdom strictly prohibits anyone from leaving, and for a good reason. Will Shuichi soon decide to risk it all and discover the horrors that hide behind one black fence? Or will he crumble under pressure and let the chance of freedom slip away? I do not own Danganronpa or any of the art used in this story

Hey!! This is my first fanfic, and basically a small synopsis is that it takes place in a non-despair AU. Hajime and Izuru are two different people, however Izuru is still the same. If starts when Chiaki gets forced outside, and Izuru is escaping Junko, and the two cross paths. Then it goes from there. A/N: Chiaki and Izuru are both asexuals in my headcanon. This means that this fic will under no circumstances be smut, in fact, there won't really be any intimacy between the two.
