Dan Howell and Phil Lester live their everyday lives together in their flat. They make YouTube videos and browse the web, except in addition they are competitive ice skaters. Dan has been acting strange for the past few days, and is getting incredibly edgy around Phil. Not knowing what to do with his odd new behavior, Phil continues on with his life completely oblivious to his best friend's crush on him as he pursues a crush of his own. Jealousy and rage, pouring through him, Dan begins to act on his feelings, and their friendship begins to tumble down. Suddenly one day, Dan suddenly collapses, and learns that he has a serious illness that could take his ability to skate and even his life. Will these two manage to be strong enough to get past the rough barrier and put together the shattered pieces of their friendship again before it's too late?
