The main character is Jim Street. A young man who became the new officer of LAPDs most elite SWAT team: 20-Squad, shortly after Buck's termination, who transferred from Long Beach SWAT. This is a story on how Hondo taught Street to become a team player, and to over come the impulse recklessness, becoming his father figure/mentor.
