Danny becomes Clockworks apprentice after learning that he would outlive everyone. A century later he finds himself in a world full of heroes. Accidentally Danny's core starts connecting with a prominent figure of societies children, marking them as his own.

Danny Fenton has just witnessed his parents, friends and teacher die at the hand of the nasty burger explosion. To avoid Vlad and becoming Dan he moves to Happy Harbour, hoping to attend school and have a somewhat normal teenage life. Nothing is normal when the Young Justice team are involved though, especially when they take an interest in Danny.

No one person could ever, truly bear the weight of the world... at least, not without breaking in the process. But knowing something to be true and acting on it are two very different things. Especially for someone whose very existence defied all logic and reason. For the one who always seemed to be too much of one thing, yet not enough of another. For the boy caught between worlds. ...But maybe, with the right people, he could learn he doesn't have to carry it alone anymore. Maybe he could finally save himself, too. Only the younger one passed a few minutes after his birth and was left to the pit to decide. Glowing green toxic eyes pierced through that night followed by an inhuman wail. Was the pit something more then even the Demons Head knew? The court certainly did and an agreement was struck, the younger would be a talon while the older an heir. Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats. After a cryptic message from Clockwork and the Observant's, Danny's Junior Year Home Room gets the once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the Ghost Zone as their field trip, his parents as their chaperons at that. Like expected - even Lancer thought it would be a bad idea - things don't go planned. Danny has to wonder if he can get them out of there without revealing his secret. It doesn't help that Sam had developed powers as well. (The Graphic Novels A Glitch in Time and Fair Game are not canon to this.)

Dipper and Mabel Pines are back in Gravity Falls for another summer! And the twins (especially Dipper) are ready to have more adventures. Things get interesting when Steven Universe and Danny Fenton start working at the Mystery Shack. Throw in some gem and ghost related shenanigans and you got an interesting summer! Updates will be done.
