These oneshots are based off of the 2019 movie & Stephen King novel, Doctor Sleep. ~ALL FICS ARE PLATONIC~ Obviously if you're reading this, you likely know the movie/book, but I'll provide a brief summary. Doctor Sleep is a sequel to the 80s film and Stephen King novel, 'the Shining'. This film takes place many years after the original film, following into Dan's adult life and the people he meets later on- leading him to a different viewpoint of his 'shine'... **I do not own any character in this story, all rights are to Stephen King, the author, and possibly the director of the film, Mike Flanagan. Well, I've lost control of my life so this will have a bunch of One Shots based on various adaptions of The Shining (Stephen King, Stanley Kubrick, etc) that I've done as warm ups for proper writing

A chilly air breeze brushes through the mountainous terrain and towering pine trees that overlook the small road that passes through. In the clearing, the snow that adorns the mountains with white looms an ominous large brown lodge. Otherwise known as The Overlook Hotel. The winter of 1970 would be one incident out of hundreds since the opening of the hotel in 1908. . . . . . . Please note this story is an adaptation of the Grady's stay at the Overlook Hotel. I will try to be as accurate to the original events as possible but not everything may be exactly correct from the original book.

I thought making the Shining but adding my own twist to it would be cool. The only difference is that Danny has a sister now named Victoria. The Shining is about a father (Jack Torrance) who gets a job as a winter caretaker at the Overlook hotel in Colorado. He takes his family with him but as it progresses something posses Jack and puts the whole family in danger. I did not write the original book. It was written by Stephen King and the movie was directed by Stanley Kubrick. This story is going to be more of the movies plot.

This novel and seuqel of ¨The Shining" shows the life of Danny Torrance, after the terryging events at the Overlook hotel, who's been moving to every part he can for years now. Until one day, Danny gets a job at a nursing home, where he uses his power of "shining" to help people pass on to the other side. Later Danny meets a girl, her nephew in reality, named Abra Stone, who also has the power of the "shining". There is a group of paranormal people, called The True knot, who is going after Abra, because of her power, since they live and feed of off that- So Danny must fight of these people, and save Abra and himself.

Every twenty seven years , an evil awakes in Derry using the town as It's hunting ground to feed off the people causing a massacre with It's appetite for children. With every cycle there is always a gifted child in the mix of it's destruction. Each of these children posssess a paranormal ability - a SHINE that makes them stand out compared to other children in Derry. It's the year 1962 and William ' Billy ' Griffin is the SHINING KID and soon he finds himself entangled with the other kids to face the Evil. Can they survive it's terrifying attacks?
