Ghosts have ranks (Alpha, Beta, Omega) and Phantom is an Alpha while Danny, since he is technically still a halfa, an Omega. Mr. Lancer thought it was a good idea to bring his class to the ghost zone, and thought it'd be great to have jack and Maddie as the guides so that nothing goes wrong. but knowing them and everyone in the class, something will. luckily Danny and his friends are there to make sure that nothing bad happens to them.
