As he falls down the dark wormhole of the investigation he uncovers some terrible home truths about his bride-to-be. Through Zadie's webbed lies and frequent disappearances, he realises that his fiancée wasn't the perfect person he made her out to be, which destroys him more. 'Lily.' A soft voice said from somewhere in the dark. My head was fuzzy and my body discontented from my brain. But the main thing was I felt no pain. I felt relief. I wasn't in the rubble anymore. I could hear beeps and distant voices. I knew I was safe in hospital. 'Lily, open your eyes.' I knew that voice. A happiness crept over me. 'Dan?' I tried to say but barely a sound left my dry mouth. 'Hey sleepy head.' It took far too much effort to do as I was told, but I eventually opened my eyes to see his beautiful face near mine. He was lying beside me in a hospital bed. The window behind him was dark. I wondered what time or what day it even was. I then noticed one of his hands was stroking my face and the other holding mine. 'You know how to scare me.' He laughed sourly. 'Sorry.' I whispered. 'De ja vu.' I told him. It was just like the time is woken up in hospital all those years ago with Dan beside me. I had so many questions but no brain capacity to ask just yet. I wanted to go back to sleep. And that's what I did.

A Bastille Fanfic on Life & Death

It's surreal to know that you have actually saved someone's life, although you were only doing what your mind has told you to do. This all happened for a reason. Ten years old, and she has never seen the world, any of it, apart from her broken home and the betrayal of her own family. These things happen, a lot. And people are connected to help one another, and may not realize until it's too late. We are interlaced through heartache, despair, secrecy, dishonesty, and obsure mysteries that may never be explained. But now, we are all she knows. (Made in 2016, never posted the whole thing... So now I'm fixing the grammar. oops.)

What would you do if your favourite band member fell in love you? When 18 year old Abbie and her best friend meets their favourite band bastille they all make good friends but what she doesn't know is that dan has been falling for her since they met... But will he spill? And if he does what will she do? X
