Laurence is an average high schooler. Good grades, good friends, and about 57.34 fan girls. But his whole world is turned upside down when his girlfriend dumps him. He is devastated. Luckily, he has his childhood friend that is moving back into the neighborhood, and his very nice lab partner. He soon meets the new girl and falls head over heels in love. But relationships change, hearts are broken, and readers find out that the title has nothing to do with the book.

Laurance is deep in the Nether, full of heartache and pain, when he meets someone that increases it by tenfold. These brave souls and more are struggling through life. But with friends by their sides, they can do everything. For, after all, what is the world without love?
