This is proven by the fact that after hopping into an eensie river in which the fishies were mean to him, bro broke two legs and an arm. Despite this crippling condition, he managed to, with his one good arm, splint both his legs, potentially his arm as well, though it was not specified, and put himself through rehabilitation (Harris 92). This evidence further supports the fact that the main character in this situation is genuinely just batman. He's just built different and is a little butt too quirky to die. Additionally, the author implies that the character is very weak boned, and therefore we can assume he has a calcium deficiency. Long ago, when fallen angels and demons roamed the Earth with no purpose except for destruction and evil, there were three men and three women. These six were gifted with strange abilities to control the functions of Earth. They were called the First. But their people called them Lyra, meaning "of the heavenly" in their native language. The origin of these powers came from six angels. Those six fell in love with humans and created the Lyra. The six Lyra trained themselves with their powers, learning more and more about themselves and their parents. Soon the six fought alongside their fathers, driving the demons away from Earth and down into the fiery depths of Hell. But even half-bloods can die. And the six eventually did, but before they did, they built a large circular tower on their homeland. A place called Trimera or as the other humans on Earth called it, "that island in The Bermuda Triangle". The tower is filled with knowledge of the Lyra. For before they passed, they saw the future. A future where the demons and fallen angels would emerge from Hell and claim Earth once more. But they also saw six girls and boys standing upon a hill, staring down at a flaming city with rage contorting their faces. The six charged the evil masses, and they were led by a bright blue-eyed boy with a staff of lightning in his hand. It's time for the Lyra to come back. It's time for the Lyra to be born again...
