When her new neighbor first moves in, Chloe and Maxx get off on the wrong foot. However, time will learn they're really not that different and might actually get along. Just when things start to work out for them, Maxx finds out about Chloe's dark past that's still haunting her.

It's been months ever since the apocalypse had started. Possibly a year. Nobody saw this infection coming. It started off as cancer; the sickness becoming more common. But this was a different type of cancer. People with this sickness had their skin become weak and almost rotting. Their skin would peel off more easier. This was just the first stage. The second stage would be high fever. It was strange that this wasn't the first stage, since this wasn't exactly a "Zombie" infection. Next, the victims eyes would blurr out. The color would turn grey, then start too fade out as if blind. Rather than white, it would become a light red color. Their teeth seemed to sharpen. Then the mutation would happen. As mentioned before: This wasn't a zombie infection. They would turn into horrible and disgusting creatures. There are different types of these creatures, each one of them having different capabilities. As for now, many are trying to survive. It's hard to say how many are alive, but it's for sure that these creatures are over populating the human race. Jessi and her German Shepherd: Loki, have been on the run for a while ever since her family had died. They've traveled for months before running into trouble. Jessi loses consciousness, a group of Stalkers ganging up on her. That is, until four men decide to save her.

Carter and Chris decided to get a summer job, and what better job than working at merch tents at vans warped tour. Chris is the merch guy for Set It Off, while Carter is the merch girl for Against The Current. Chris finds himself falling for the drummer Maxx Danziger from SIO. Carter isn't doing any better. She's been spending a lot of time with Chrissy Costanza, the lead singer of ATC, and is falling for her as well.
